Repeat Prescriptions
You can request your repeat medication by indicating the items you require on the tear-off slip of your prescription, and posting it to us or handing it in at the practice reception.
If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.
Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription via this website by simply following the link on this page and carrying out the simple registration.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
We NO LONGER accept any repeat prescription requests from community pharmacies on behalf of patients. Patients (or their carer, nominated family member/friend) will have to order repeat prescriptions directly from the GP practice themselves. Collection of prescriptions from GP practices by community pharmacies on behalf of patients will not be affected.
The practices made/making this change, with full support of NHS Rotherham CCG, have carefully considered all options, engaged extensively with key stakeholders(patients, carers, patient participation groups and voluntary groups)
If you, or someone you care for, use the same medicines on a daily basis (ie regularly) you may be able to benefit from using the NHS electronic repeat dispensing service the practice offers to suitable patients. This service means you wont have to order your repeat prescription from the GP practice every time you need more medicine. Just collect your dispensed medication from your nominated community pharmacy.
